DLE fixtures are the only LED grow lights in the world that make use of one chip to cover the entire sunlight spectrum at full capacity with a ratio of 1.3 : 2 : 2 (blue : green : red), 0.4% UV-A and about 7% NIR (700-800 nm). Where competing lights all have their tops and dips in the spectrum due to their usage of multiple chip colors, DLE’s one-chip setup perfectly follows the spectrum of natural sunlight.

Natural Sunlight

Natural sunlight covers the light spectrum from near-ultraviolet to infrared . The graph shows that the wavelengths between near ultra-violet and infrared are more or less uniformly represented. Plants have adapted to this spectrum of wavelengths. Every single wavelength is important to the plant for optimal development.

DLE Fixture

The single diode lamp from DLE has a light spectrum that almost matches that of the sunlight. All wavelengths between near-ultra-violet and infrared are balanced. There are no strong peaks or troughs. The plant receives the light it needs to perform optimally.

Multiple Diode Fixtures

The multiple diode lamps that are available on the market almost all have a peak in the blue and red wavelengths of the light and do not have the full spectrum from near ultra-violet to infrared. Plants under this light will not perform optimally.

Stability and Durability

Through the combination of diodes, their carefully balanced electrical load and the PHM system, the temperature of the diodes it selves remain extremely stable in time at full function. DLE fixtures show no decline in performance after start up. The stable temperature, well within the operating margins of the diodes, also provides its very long service life.
